How can matter be compared?
Today we kicked off our Properties of Matter science unit with an exploration. Students were given tools such as hand lenses, centimeter measuring tapes, and magnets to observe (get information about using the five senses) and classify (sort according to properties, or characteristics) the objects. On Monday, we'll
return to this activity to observe and classify the objects using a
balance and gram weights.
