End of the Year Celebration

T minus 1.5 days until summer break!  Team Kirkham-Remley has worked hard all year, so we played hard today.  First, we created TBH (To Be Honest) books and spent some time writing what we appreciated or noticed about our classmates this year (or shared a special memory).  Next, we went outside for a Minute to Win It Challenge, Cookie Face.

Then we attended our last resource classes for the year.  After resource, we returned outside for a water balloon toss,

had recess, then lunch with our homerooms in our classrooms.  We had string cheese, grapes, watermelon, sub sandwiches, and chips.  One of our classmates brought a special treat, seaweed-rice rolls, to share with the class.

After lunch, we finished our TBH books and started a coloring contest (we'll determine winners tomorrow and award prizes) while watching a movie and enjoying a treat.  Thank you for sending in lunch/party items and lending helping hands!
